my first post (starting anew) is dedicated to little-miss-lunch.
to begin, her nickname (i came up w it like seconds ago) is derived from her mini linguistic obstacle. she pronounces "lounge" as "lunch", "lunch" as "launch", "launch" as "lounge". basically she gets them all mixed up ALL THE TIME. but to keep the nickname short, we shall use "little-miss-lunch", since i always have lunch with her.
talking about lunch, we always eat the same thing from the same stall, with occasional permutations of the type of noodles. u guessed it - its the Singaporean must-eat at a food court BAN MIAN. for me, its always the square pieces of MEE HOON KUAY, little-miss-lunch prefers U-MIAN... the tiny skinny one. she claims it looks like there are more noodles, and psychologically she would feel more satisfied. today, we both tried something new for lunch, we tried the DEFAULT BAN MIAN.
ok so little-miss-lunch was complaining the whole time. and while she was talking to her friends who passed by, i fished a strand of u-mian which was mistakenly placed in the wrong bowl. i held the strand for really really long, laughing to myself and finally being able to give it to her "officially". and we both had an ab-forming laugh. (: (i think only lml and me find it funny.)
anyway, little-miss-lunch has a "best friend", lets call him mr. curly. mr.curly is really weird and quirky. and i mean really quirky. he got korean-wanna-be curly hair, and dresses cool. and he likes to blabber and half the time, i dont quite understand him. anyhoos, we always notice mr. curly. 2 tutorial classes ago, we saw him at a lift lobby, looking lost, finding our new tut class. we were heading there, totally immersed in commenting at his "lost face" tt we din even bother calling him along. the funny part is that we saw him pacing up and down the corridor from the classroom and all we did was laugh. (OUR BAD.but really funny) and he finally entered the class like after almost half hr. then we laugh again.
(lml, if u are seeing this, i think we really need to feel bad haha)
to sum this post up, lml really makes me lol all the time. and i always lol with lml at small stupid things. but isnt tt what life is all about? in midst of the everyday routines, laughter just makes life so much more meaningful(:
oh ya. lml and i each have resolutions. she will the crunches every day while i fast from "my mcdonalds".......... tough! but we CAN!
