come what may.

i think this phrase is one that not many dare to declare.

firstly, it means welcoming the uncertainty with confidence. (how many of us can?!)
second, it implies security. (how many of us are THIS secure)

Job 13:13 “Hold your peace with me, and let me speak, Then let come on me what may!"

Guess Job didnt scream that sentence at his friends because he was totally confident in his capabilities or that he was proud but HE WAS SECURED IN GOD.. so secured, uncertainties (of the present and future) dont matter, because he knows that God will make a way. It was more of a declaration to God saying "Lord, I TRUST YOU WHOLEHEARTEDLY, with my present and future, that what ever comes my way i know its ordained by you and i will walk by faith to the victorious end"

i often wonder abt the magnitude of Job's faith, with all that he has gone through, how can he still utter that 3 words... it can only be a faith and confidence that God has anointed him with. it can only be that he experienced SO MUCH of God (both blessings and presence) that he knows so certainly that God is the same yesterday today and forever (Heb 13:8).

He blessed you yesterday, He has blessed you today, and He will definitely bless you forever.

lets make lemonades!

exam period is probably the most boring time... filled w just silence and books and notes. occasionally interrupted by the clicking of the mechanical pencil and yawns.

its probably a time when one goes through hours of introspection (during undeserved breaks).. "the act of looking within oneself" quoted from dictionary.com; seems like an EMO-MO-MO time but truth is, introspection can be healthy n happy(:

its time when u reflect (n besides realizing the bad things, which we should try to avoid), and realise there is so so so so much to thank God for and so so so so much to look forward to! having happy thoughts is a choice!

when life gives you lemons, ALWAYS CHOOSE to make lemonades!
